You told me something
That I could not explain myself
Some kind of nothing
The something that could kill oneself
You told me something
That I could not explain myself
Some kind of nothing
The something that could kill oneself
It was wrong for me to say
That everything was gonna be just okay
Want to do what I can so that you could
Know what to say
It was wrong for me to stay
With everything that should come my way
What to do when I can so that you could
know where I lay
Stop
Everybody listen
Shot
On the boarder line
Everything we treasured is just well defined
Not
The thing we sought after
Caught
On the daily grind
Everything that’s tethered is just left behind
You told me something
That I could not explain myself
Some kind of nothing
The something that could kill oneself
You told me something
That I could not explain myself
Some kind of nothing
The something that could kill oneself

I think it's difficult to write songs about something other than romantic love, and still be able to communicate the intensity with which those feelings can hit a person. Some of the entries on this album are fantastic examples of this niche. dani_bloop
